Upright Meaning

Reversed Meaning
The conflict goes underground. On the surface things look settled enough, but the disagreement has not resolved so much as paused. Tension that goes unaddressed tends to leak out sideways through sarcasm, withdrawal, and small acts of resistance that no one will name directly.
