Reversed Meaning
The waiting has turned to doubt. You have put in the work and you are staring at the plant, and it is not growing fast enough to reassure you. Or you are realizing you planted the wrong thing and the harvest will not be what you imagined, and the season you invested cannot be gotten back.
Deeper Exploration
Step back and look at what you have actually been growing. Is it what you intended? If it is not, you can keep tending it, or you can accept that the season is telling you something. Both are valid. Pretending the plant is what you meant to grow is the only option that wastes the lesson.
