Symbolizes restriction, self-imposed limitations, feeling trapped, and negative thoughts. It suggests that you are bound by your own fears or perceptions, not by external forces.
Reversed Meaning
The binds loosen. You realize the ropes were never as tight as they felt, and the blindness was at least partly chosen. The trap had an exit the whole time, but walking through it means accepting responsibility for having stayed as long as you did, and that acceptance is harder than the escape.
Deeper Exploration
Test one restriction you have been complaining about. Take one small action that assumes you are freer than you have been telling yourself. The result will tell you whether the cage was real or rented, and a rented cage is one you can stop paying for at any time.
